Why Plan?

While many of senior Canadians have a some form of a financial plan in place for their retirement years, very few have a personal plan in place for what they are going to do during those retirement years.
Whether it is due to FOGO (the fear of getting older) or an underappreciation for the various opportunities and challenges that those retirement years present to us, the absence of a Personal Plan can be expensive, stressful and a waste of invaluable time you could be spending enjoying many deserved years of yours.
Besides, a number of new realities have emerged from what most of us thought, would never be in our horizons, no matter what age you might be today. And many of these realities have both a financial and personal impact on us, that many have not planned for. Just a few of these realities shown here are enough for anyone to start rethinking their plans if they haven't already.

So, there's no question that a refreshed and ongoing financial plan is good thinking at this time, but all of these "realities" have an impact on our "life" plans as well. And are you thinking about those impacts on you?
So, about those "personal" plans. There's no question that finances will have an impact on your life plans, but they can't be the only thing you plan for. As the principals at myAgendum have said: "there was much more 'runway' in life to plan for". Let's now talk about Our Approach.
